Founder and Owner: Penny Heath
My story: I founded Heath Photography in Redwood, NY in 1989 after completing photographic training in California. I have always been interested in visual images, but over the years my specialty has become what I call "the art of family."
Our Mission: At Heath Photography, our mission is to preserve the history of families...their relationships, passions, milestones, and joys...in artful images that touch the heart and warm the home.
Your Family's Photographer: It is important that families find the right photographer to capture their special moments. In becoming your family's photographer, I celebrate what makes your family unique, and what binds you together. In our gallery/showroom or in our tasteful outdoor settings, my photographers and I are with you to translate the best of your lives through our lenses. We are adept at capturing the relaxed, casual, comfortable side of you and your family, and distilling it with a professional eye into quality portraits.
My Gifts: In my private life, I am also the founder of a local organization called Hearts for Youth, headquartered in nearby Alexandria Bay, NY. I care deeply about children and their capacity for growth creativity, an orientation that is reflected in my Youth Portraits. I love to help you find your own style and look in my Design Consultations, with help of portfolio samples to spur your own ideas. I draw on the expertise from my Master Photographer status with the Professional Photographers Association--and the national photography awards that I have won--to bring your best self forward.
